At Ocean Gate, we strive to outperform our competitors in completion time and cost while maintaining the highest level of quality of craftsmanship. We practice a “client-first” methodology that leverages the inherent benefit of direct communication and contact between our clients and decision makers within our firm. The Ocean Gate Team has continuously exceeded client expectations with every project we undertake.
Ocean Gate’s focus for The Eco Center project is to produce a “Re-Producible” model. By that, we mean, a tight schedule, and a tight budget using the greatest percentage of recycled materials – exceed the 55-% called for by the USGBC. We want to understand what is possible. Ocean Gate is proud of their educated and talented staff, and this project will test everyone’s imagination of what is possible.
Supports, benches, and doors will come from existing materials. Exotic species of trees on the site will be bartered for native low water specimens; artists will develop our stormwater system using recycled materials. Benches will be crafted from existing steel, rebent to our purpose. Each element of the project is an exploration of what is possible. We believe green building practices can be cost effective, imaginative, of good quality, and reproducible. Watch it Happen.
